TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Island Eastern Corridor Westbound, Quarry Bay

        Notice is hereby given that, to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily on 18 and 19 August 2025:

I. Road Closure

Part of the traffic lanes of Island Eastern Corridor ("IEC") westbound heading for Causeway Bay between Cityplaza Four and Quarry Bay Park Phase II will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

II. Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles heading for Causeway Bay will be diverted via Taikoo Wan Road, Tai Fung Avenue, Taikoo Shing Road, Tai Mou Avenue, Taikoo Wan Road and the slip road leading from Taikoo Wan Road to IEC westbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on-site to guide motorists. The Transport Department anticipates that the traffic in the vicinity of IEC westbound near Quarry Bay will be relatively busy. Motorists should exercise tolerance and patience in case of traffic congestion. Members of the public are advised to plan their journey early and allow more travelling time to cater for unexpected delay, and watch out for the latest traffic news through media.
