In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm daily between 26 August 2025 and 29 August 2025, the section of Castle Peak Road - Tai Lam eastbound from a point about 10 metres east of its junction with the Kwun Fat Street to a point about 20 metres east of its junction with Lok Chui Street will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
