ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)
TEMPORARY SPEED LIMITS ON FANLING HIGHWAY, YUEN LONG

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 1.00 am to 5.30 am daily on 23 and 26 August 2025, the following sections of Fanling Highway will be temporarily subject to the speed limits as described below:

1. the section of Fanling Highway westbound from a point about 600 metres east of its junction with the slip road leading to San Tin Interchange to a point about 400 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour; and
2. the section of Fanling Highway westbound from a point about 600 metres east of its junction with the slip road leading to San Tin Interchange to a point about 1 500 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour.

　　Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

　　At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
