In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 00.01 midnight to 06.00 am daily from 25 August 2025 to 30 August 2025, Yuen Long Highway southbound from about chainage marker 47.8B to about chainage marker 48.1B will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 70 kilometers per hour.

    Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

    At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
