In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 29 August 2025 to 6.00 a.m. on 1 November 2025, the section of West Kowloon Highway southbound from a point about 760 metres north of its junction with elevated road of Lin Cheung Road to a point about 450 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

      At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
