In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 1.00 a.m. to 7.15 a.m. on 30 November 2025, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

1. 1. the section of the Penny's Bay Highway northbound from a point about 380 metres west of its junction with Magic Road to its junction with North Lantau Highway eastbound;
      
      
   2. the section of the North Lantau Highway eastbound from a point about 95 meters west of its junction with Penny's Bay Highway northbound to its junction with Lantau Link eastbound; and
      
      
   3. the section of the Lantau Link eastbound from its junction with North Lantau Highway eastbound to its junction with the slip road to Lantau Link lower deck.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
