In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 1.00 a.m. to 7.15 a.m. on 30 November 2025, the section of the North Lantau Highway eastbound from a point about 1 975 meters east of its junction with Shun Long Road northbound to a point about 95 meters west of its junction with Penny's Bay Highway northbound will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

       At the same time, the existing speed limit of 110 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
