TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Yau Ma Tei

Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the Central Kowloon Route construction works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Yau Ma Tei from 1.00 am to 5.30 am on 18 December 2025:

  1. Road Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

  1. Austin Road West underpass westbound heading to Lin Cheung Road northbound;
  2. Lin Cheung Road underpass northbound; and
  1. Lane Closure

The following traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

  1. The second and third right lanes of Austin Road West westbound near Xiqu Centre;
  2. The first and second right lanes of Lin Cheung Road northbound near Civil Aid Service Headquarters;
  1. The first left lane of Jordan Road eastbound near the Sorrento;
  2. The first and second right lanes of Jordan Road westbound near Austin Station;
  3. Part of the first left lane of Jordan Road westbound near Austin Station;
  1. The first and second right lanes of Lin Cheung Road northbound near Hong Kong West Kowloon Station; and
  2. The first and fourth right lanes of Lin Cheung Road southbound near West Kowloon Station Bus Terminus.
  1. Affected vehicles on Jordan Road westbound heading to Kwai Chung and Lantau via Lin Cheung Road northbound will be diverted via Hoi Po Road northbound;
  2. Affected vehicles on Jordan Road westbound heading to Hong Kong (West) via Lin Cheung Road northbound will be diverted via Jordan Road eastbound, and Lin Cheung Road northbound;
  1. Affected vehicles on Lin Cheung Road northbound (south of its junction with Jordan Road) heading to Kwai Chung and Lantau via will be diverted via Jordan Road westbound and Hoi Po Road northbound after the junction of Lin Cheung Road northbound and Jordan Road;
  2. Affected vehicles on Lin Cheung Road northbound (south of its junction with Jordan Road) heading to Hong Kong (West) via Lin Cheung Road northbound will be diverted via Jordan Road westbound, Jordan Road eastbound and Lin Cheung Road northbound after the junction of Lin Cheung Road northbound and Jordan Road;
  3. Affected vehicles on Canton Road northbound and Austin Road westbound heading to Kwai Chung and Lantau via Austin Road West westbound, Austin Road West underpass westbound, Lin Cheung Road underpass northbound, Lin Cheung Road northbound will be diverted via Austin Road West westbound, Nga Cheung Road northbound, Jordan Road westbound and Hoi Po Road northbound; and

  1. Public Transport Arrangements

To cope with the above traffic diversions, the following bus routes will be diverted:

  1. KMB route No. 260X (Tuen Mun bound), KMB route No. 268B (Long Ping bound), KMB route No. 269B (Tin Shui Wai bound), KMB route No. 280X (Sui Wo Court bound), CTB route No. E23A (Airport bound) and CTB route No. N11 (Airport bound) will be temporarily diverted via Jordan Road westbound and Hoi Po Road northbound, before resuming to its original routing. The existing bus stops will remain unchanged; and
  2. XHT route No. 970 (To Cyberport) and XHT route No. 970X (To Aberdeen) will be temporarily diverted via Jordan Road westbound, U-turn, Jordan Road eastbound and Lin Cheung Road northbound before resuming to its original routing. The existing bus stops will remain unchanged.

Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
