Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate maintenance works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented during the following dates and time:

        I. From 10.00 am to 4.00 pm daily on 26 and 27 February 2026

        A. Lanes Closure

• The traffic lane of Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound from a point about 15 metres south of its junction with the unnamed road connecting to the metered parking spaces near Piper's Hill to a point about 15 metres south of its junction with Golden Hill Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic;

• The traffic lane of Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound from a point about 15 metres north of its junction with Golden Hill Road to a point about 30 metres north of its junction with Mount Arcadia will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and
  
  
• The rightmost lane of Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound from a point about 15 metres south of its junction with the unnamed road connecting to the metered parking spaces near No. 8623 Tai Po Road to a point about 140 metres north of its junction with the unnamed road connecting to Garden Villa will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

        B. Traffic Diversion Conversion

        The rightmost lane of Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound between a point about 15 metres south of its junction with the unnamed road connecting to the metered parking spaces near Piper's Hill and the point about 140 metres north of its junction with the unnamed road connecting to Garden Villa will be temporarily converted to northbound traffic.

        C. Banning of Turning Movements

• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Cheung Yuen Road and the unnamed road connecting to Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill near Golden Hill Road onto Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound to Kowloon (East);
  
  
• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from No. 8696 Tai Po Road (Depot of Civil Engineering and Development Department – Mines Division), the exit of the metered parking spaces near Kowloon Reservoir Barbecue Area and the exit of the petrol station near Tai Po Road Lookout onto Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound to Kowloon (East);
  
  
• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from the exit of the metered parking spaces near Tai Po Road Lookout and No. 8623 Tai Po Road onto Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound to Sha Tin;
  
  
• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound onto No. 8623 Tai Po Road and the entrance of the metered parking spaces near Tai Po Road Lookout;
  
  
• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Piper's Hill Road onto Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound to Sha Tin; and
  
  
• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound onto Mount Arcadia, the entrance of the petrol station near Tai Po Road Lookout and Golden Hill Road.

        D. Traffic Diversions

• Affected vehicles on Cheung Yuen Road and the unnamed road connecting to Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill near Golden Hill Road heading for Kowloon (East) will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road southbound, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound and Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound;
  
  
• Affected vehicles on No. 8696 Tai Po Road (Depot of Civil Engineering and Development Department – Mines Division), the exit of the metered parking spaces near Kowloon Reservoir Barbecue Area and the exit of the petrol station near Tai Po Road Lookout heading for Kowloon (East) will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road southbound, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound and Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound;
  
  
• Affected vehicles on the exit of the metered parking spaces near Tai Po Road Lookout and No. 8623 Tai Po Road heading for Sha Tin will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound, Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound, Caldecott Road, Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound;
  
  
• Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound heading for No. 8623 Tai Po Road and the entrance of the metered parking spaces near Tai Po Road Lookout will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road southbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound;
  
  
• Affected vehicles on Piper's Hill Road heading for Sha Tin will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound, Caldecott Road, Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound; and
  
  
• Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound heading for Mount Arcadia, the entrance of the petrol station near Tai Po Road Lookout and Golden Hill Road will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound, Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound, Caldecott Road, Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound.

        II. From 10.00 am to 4.00 pm daily on 23, 24 and 25 February 2026

        A. Lane Closure

        The leftmost lane of Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound between a point about 15 metres south from its junction with the metered parking spaces near Piper's Hill and a point about 140 metres north of its junction with the unnamed road connecting to Garden Villa will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

        B. Banning of Turning Movements

• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound onto Mount Arcadia and the entrance of the petrol station near Tai Po Road Lookout; and
  
  
• All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from the exit of the petrol station near Tai Po Road Lookout onto Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound to Kowloon (East).

        C. Traffic Diversions

• Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound heading for Mount Arcadia and the entrance of the petrol station near Tai Po Road Lookout will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound, Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound, Caldecott Road, Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound; and
  
  
• Affected vehicles on the exit of the petrol station near Tai Po Road Lookout heading for Kowloon (East) will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road southbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care.
