Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate the construction works for the newly-built roundabout on Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau near Pak Shek Au, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented during the following periods on 14 March 2026:

From 12.01 a.m. to 1.00 a.m.

One-lane two-way traffic arrangement will be implemented on a section of Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau near Pak Shek Au.

From 1.00 a.m. to 4.55 a.m.

(a) Road Closure

The unnamed access road between Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau and the slip road connecting with Fanling Highway westbound near Pak Shek Au will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

(b) Banning of Turning Movement

1. All vehicles on the slip road leading from Fanling Highway westbound near Pak Shek Au will be prohibited from making right turn onto the above unnamed access road northbound;
2. All vehicles on Kwu Tung Road (both bounds) near Pak Shek Au will be prohibited from making turning movement onto the above unnamed access road northbound; and
3. All vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau (both bounds) near Pak Shek Au will be prohibited from making turning movement onto the above unnamed access road southbound.

(c) Traffic Diversion

1. Motorists on Fanling Highway westbound heading for Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau will be diverted via Kwu Tung Road westbound, San Tin Interchange and Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau eastbound;
2. Motorists on Kwu Tung Road westbound heading for Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau will be diverted via San Tin Interchange and Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau eastbound;
3. Motorists on Kwu Tung Road eastbound heading for Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Kwu Tung westbound and Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau westbound;
4. Motorists on Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau westbound heading for Kwu Tung Road will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – San Tin westbound, San Tin Interchange and Kwu Tung Road eastbound; and
5. Motorists on Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau eastbound heading for Kwu Tung Road will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Kwu Tung eastbound and Kwu Tung Road westbound.
   
   Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care.
