TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Central District

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Central District during the periods specified below:

A.     Road and Lane Closure

The following road sections and traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

From 12.00 am to 5.30 am on 20 March 2026; and
From 11.00 pm on 21 March 2026 to 5.00 am on 22 March 2026

1. 1. 1. The section of Lung Wo Road between Man Yiu Street and Yiu Sing Street;
      2. The second leftmost lane of Man Cheung Street eastbound near Lung Wo Road;
      3. The leftmost lane of Man Yiu Street southbound near Lung Wo Road; and
      4. The left and middle lanes of Lung Wo Road westbound near Yiu Sing Street.

From 11.00 pm on 21 March 2026 to 5.00 am on 22 March 2026

1. 1. 1. The right lane of Man Yiu Street northbound between Harbour View Street and Man Cheung Street;
      2. The rightmost and second rightmost lanes of Man Yiu Street southbound between Man Kwong Street and Yiu Sing Street;
      3. The leftmost, second leftmost and second rightmost lanes of Man Yiu Street southbound between Yiu Sing Street and Lung Wo Road; and
      4. The rightmost lane of Man Po Street near Yiu Sing Street.

From 1.00 am to 5.00 am on 22 March 2026

1. 1. 1. The section of Man Yiu Street southbound between Yiu Sing Street and Lung Wo Road;
      2. The leftmost and second rightmost lanes of Man Cheung Street eastbound near Lung Wo Road;
      3. The section of Man Yiu Street near Lung Wo Road; and
      4. The second rightmost lane of Man Po Street near Yiu Sing Street.

B.     Traffic Diversion

From 12.00 am to 5.30 am on 20 March 2026; and
From 11.00 pm on 21 March 2026 to 12.59 am on 22 March 2026

1. 1. 1. Affected vehicles on Lung Wo Road westbound heading for Man Yiu Street southbound or Man Cheung Street westbound will be diverted via Yiu Sing Street westbound, Man Yiu Street northbound, roundabout and Man Yiu Street southbound;
      2. Affected vehicles on Man Cheung Street eastbound heading for Lung Wo Road eastbound will be diverted via Man Yiu Street northbound, roundabout, Man Yiu Street southbound and Yiu Sing Street eastbound; and
      3. Affected vehicles on Man Yiu Street southbound or Man Po Street heading for Lung Wo Road eastbound will be diverted via Yiu Sing Street eastbound.

From 1.00 am to 5.00 am on 22 March 2026

1. 1. 1. Affected vehicles on Man Yiu Street southbound or Man Po Street heading for Lung Wo Road eastbound will be diverted via Yiu Sing Street eastbound;
      2. Affected vehicles on Man Cheung Street eastbound or Man Yiu Street northbound heading for Man Kwong Street will be diverted via Man Cheung Street westbound and Connaught Road Central westbound; and
      3. Affected vehicles on Man Kwong Street or Man Po Street heading for Man Cheung Street will be diverted via Finance Street and Man Cheung Street eastbound.

C.     Suspension of Bus Stop

The bus stop of CTB Route Nos. 2, 7 and 91 on Man Yiu Street southbound opposite to Two International Finance Centre will be temporarily suspended from 11.00 pm on 21 March 2026 to 5.00 am on 22 March 2026.

D.     Suspension of Parking Spaces

All metered parking spaces on Lung Wo Road will be temporarily suspended from 12.00 am to 5.30 am on 20 March 2026 and from 11.00 pm on 21 March 2026 to 5.00 am on 22 March 2026.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists. The bus company will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
