TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Temple Street and Hi Lung Lane, Yau Ma Tei

    Motorists are advised that the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm on 1 May 2026:

1. Road Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

1. 1. The sections of Temple Street between Public Square Street and Wing Sing Lane;
      
      
   2. The sections of Temple Street between Wing Sing Lane and Man Ming Lane; and
      
      
   3. The sections of Hi Lung Lane between Shanghai Street and Temple Street.

2. Banning of Turning Movement

1. 1. All vehicles on Public Square Street westbound will be prohibited from making right turn movement onto Temple Street northbound;
      
      
   2. All vehicles on Wing Sing Lane eastbound will be prohibited from making left turn movement onto Temple Street northbound; and
      
      
   3. All vehicles on Shanghai Street southbound will be prohibited from making left turn movement onto Hi Lung Lane eastbound.

3. Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles on Public Square Street westbound heading to Man Ming Lane via Temple Street northbound will be diverted via Reclamation Street northbound.

4. Suspension of Metered Parking Space

6 metered parking spaces (nos. 5172A, 5172B, 5173A, 5173B, 5174A and 5174B) on Hi Lung Lane will be temporarily suspended.

    Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
