ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONE ON CHATHAM ROAD SOUTH, TSIM SHA TSUI

       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulation, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 18 April 2026 to 6.00 am on 29 June 2026, the eastern kerbside lane of Chatham Road South from a point about 20 meters north of its junction with Salisbury Road to a point about 120 meters north of the same junction will be temporarily designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: 

            (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
