In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 11.00 p.m. to 5.30 a.m. of the following day daily between 4 May 2026 to 22 June 2026 (except Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays), the following sections of San Tin Highway will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour:

1. The section of San Tin Highway northbound between about chainage marker 37.8A and about chainage marker 32.5A; and
2. The section of San Tin Highway westbound between about chainage marker 32.3B and about chainage marker 38.3B.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
