In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.30 am to 3.00 am on 29 April 2026, the section of Lion Rock Tunnel Road southbound from a point about 80 metres north of its junction with the slip road leading to Lung Cheung Road westbound to a point about 215 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour, in order to facilitate road works.

      Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

      At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
