Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate maintenance works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm (except public holidays) daily from 27 April 2026 to 16 May 2026:

        A. Lanes Closure

1. The traffic lane of Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound from a point about 15 metres south of its junction with the unnamed road connecting to the metered parking spaces near Piper's Hill to a point about 15 metres north of its junction with Cheung Yuen Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and
   
   
2. The rightmost lane of Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound from a point near No. 8696 of Tai Po Road (Depot of Civil Engineering & Development Department – Mines Division) to a point near the metered parking spaces near Piper's Hill will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

        B. Traffic Diversion Conversion

        The rightmost lane of Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound from its junction with Piper's Hill Road to its junction with the unnamed road connecting to the metered parking spaces near Piper's Hill will be temporarily converted to northbound traffic.

        C. Banning of Turning Movements

1. All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Cheung Yuen Road and the unnamed road between Golden Hill Road and Cheung Yuen Road onto Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound to Kowloon (East);
   
   
2. All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Piper's Hill Road onto Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound to Sha Tin;
   
   
3. All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound onto Golden Hill Road, the unnamed road between Golden Hill Road and Cheung Yuen Road and Cheung Yuen Road; and
   
   
4. All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound onto Piper's Hill Road.

        D. Traffic Diversions

1. Affected vehicles on Cheung Yuen Road and the unnamed road between Golden Hill Road and Cheung Yuen Road heading for Kowloon (East) will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road southbound, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights southbound and Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound;
   
   
2. Affected vehicles on Piper's Hill Road heading for Sha Tin will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound, Caldecott Road, Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Height northbound;
   
   
3. Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound heading for Golden Hill Road, the unnamed road between Golden Hill Road and Cheung Yuen Road and Cheung Yuen Road will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound, Caldecott Road and Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound; and
   
   
4. Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound heading for Piper's Hill Road will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill northbound, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Heights northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road northbound, Lower Shing Mun Road southbound, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin Height southbound and Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill southbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care.
