In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.00 midnight to 5.30 am daily on 29 and 30 April 2026 and 8, 14 and 15 May 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

1. 1. The section of Tate's Cairn Highway northbound from a point about 220 metres south of its junction with Sha Lek Highway westbound to a point about 150 metres north of the same junction; and
   2. The section of Sha Lek Highway westbound from its junction with Tate's Cairn Highway northbound to a point about 250 metres west of the same junction.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
