ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)
TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT ON MA ON SHAN BYPASS AND MA ON SHAN ROAD

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 1.00 am to 5.30 am on 30 April 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

1. 1. the section of Ma On Shan Bypass southbound from a point about 505 metres north of its junction with Ma On Shan Road southbound to a point of the same junction;
   2. the section of Ma On Shan Road southbound from a point about 310 metres south of its junction with Ma On Shan Bypass southbound to a point of the same junction; and
   3. the section of Ma On Shan Road southbound from a point about 200 metres north of its junction with Ma On Shan Bypass southbound to a point of its junction with the slip road leading to Kam Chun Court.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
