Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Man Lam Road and Man Lai Road, Tai Wai
Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate the construction of T4 Trunk Road, the following temporary traffic arrangements on Man Lam Road and Man Lai Road will be implemented from 3.00 am on 10 May 2026 to 05.30 am on 7 May 2028:
- Road Closure
Man Lam Road from its junction with Man Lai Road southbound to a point about 60 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic. A section of Man Lam Road between Boarding Section of Caritas Lok Jun School and Sha Tin (Tai Wai) Clinic and a section of Man Lai Road between St. Alfred's Catholic Church and Petrol Filling Station will be temporarily converted into two-lane two-way traffic.
- Banning of Turning Movement and Traffic Diversion
All vehicles exceeding 9 metres in length will be prohibited from making right turn movement from Man Lai Road northbound near Sha Tin Government Secondary School onto Man Lai Road eastbound. Affected vehicles will be diverted via Man Lai Road westbound, roundabout near Man Lai Court and Man Lai Road eastbound.
Appropriate traffic signs and road marking will be provided on site to guide motorists.
