Traffic Arrangements on Fanling Highway, North District

       Members of the public are advised that to facilitate the road opening in Kwu Tung North, the following traffic arrangements on Fanling Highway will be implemented from 7.00 a.m. on 1 May 2026.

     
       The slip road leading from Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau to Fanling Highway eastbound near Pak Shek Au will be closed for all vehicular traffic.

1. Vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau eastbound heading for Fanling Highway eastbound will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau eastbound, the roundabout at the junction of Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau and Kwu Tung North Road, Kwu Tung North Road southbound, the slip road leading from Kwu Tung North Road southbound to Fanling Highway eastbound and Fanling Highway eastbound; and

2. Vehicles on Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau westbound heading for Fanling Highway eastbound will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau westbound, the roundabout at the junction of Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau and Kwu Tung North Road, Kwu Tung North Road southbound, the slip road leading from Kwu Tung North Road southbound to Fanling Highway eastbound and Fanling Highway eastbound.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care.
