Special Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Shek O for Swimming Season 2026
Members of the public are advised that the special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Shek O in connection with the swimming season 2026 during the following periods:-

I. Suspension of Parking Spaces
16 parking spaces (nos. 114 to 129) at Shek O Beach Public Carpark will be suspended.
II. Temporary Relocation of Bus Terminating Point
The terminating point of CTB Route Nos. 9 (Shau Kei Wan – Shek O) and X9 (Shek O – Central (Central Ferry Piers)) at Shek O Bus Terminus will be temporarily relocated to Shek O Beach Public Carpark near Shek O Beach Office.
Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists. The bus company will display notices at the concerned terminus to advise passengers of the above temporary bus service arrangements.
Members of the public are advised to avoid driving to the affect area and use public transport services as far as possible. In case of traffic congestion, motorists should exercise tolerance and patience, and follow the instructions of the Police.
