Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tai Po


        Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 10.00 pm on 20 May 2026 to 6.00 am on 21 May 2026.

(I)    Lane Closure

The fast lane of Ting Kok Road westbound from a point about 335 metres east of its junction with Dai Fat Street to a point about 60 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily closed.

(II)   Banning of Turning Movement

All vehicles will be prohibited from making right turn movement from Ting Kok Road eastbound onto Dai Fat Street.

(III)  Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles from Ting Kok Road eastbound heading for Dai Fat Street will be diverted via Ting Kok Road eastbound, Dai Kwai Street southbound, Dai Fu Street westbound, Dai Fu Street southbound and Dai Wang Street westbound.

(IV)  Public Transport Arrangements

The following franchised bus and green minibus routes will be diverted and the bus stops concerned will also be suspended or temporarily relocated:

Passengers may take N.T. GMB Route No. 26 near the bus stops temporarily provided.


        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instruction on site and drive with utmost care. Notices will be displayed by the public transport operators to inform passenger of the above arrangements concerned.
