In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day daily between 9 May 2026 and 19 May 2026, the following road sections of Tsing Long Highway will be temporarily subject to the speed limits as described below:

        (i) the section of Tsing Long Highway southbound from about chainage marker 24.1 to about chainage marker 24.4 will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour; and
        (ii) the section of Tsing Long Highway southbound from a point about 860 metres north of the entrance of Tai Lam Tunnel southbound tunnel tube to about chainage marker 24.1 will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
