ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
BUS RESTRICTED ZONES ON BEACH ROAD, SOUTHERN DISTRICT

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 15 May 2026, the following road sections will be designated as bus restricted zones from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily:-

1. 1. the northern kerbside lane of Beach Road from a point about 125 metres east of its junction with Repulse Bay Road to a point about 405 metres east of the same junction; and
   2. the southern kerbside lane of Beach Road from a point about 95 metres east of its junction with Repulse Bay Road to a point about 350 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of buses, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

1. 1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
   2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
