ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
PUBLIC LIGHT BUS RESTRICTED ZONE ON BEACH ROAD, SOUTHERN DISTRICT
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 15 May 2026, the southern kerbside lane of Beach Road from a point about 135 metres west of its junction with South Bay Road to a point about 370 metres west of the same junction will be designated as a public light bus restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of public light buses, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
