TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Wai Yip Street and Kei Yip Street, Kwun Tong


    Motorists are advised that, to facilitate construction works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 1.00 pm on 16 May 2026 to 5.00 am on 18 May 2026:-

  1. Road Closure

The section of Kei Yip Street of about 40 metres near Wai Yip Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

  1. Lane Closure

The slow and middle lane of about 80 metres on Wai Yip Street westbound near Kei Yip Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

  1. Banning of Turning Movement

All motorists will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn movement from Wai Yip Street westbound onto Kei Yip Street southbound.

  1. Traffic Diversion

Affected motorists on Wai Yip Street westbound and Hoi Yuen Road southbound heading for Kei Yip Street will be diverted via Hoi Yuen Road southbound, Kei Yip Lane westbound and Kei Yip Street southbound.

  1. Public Transport Arrangement

KMB Route No. 40 (Tsuen Wan (Belvedere Garden) bound) will be diverted via Hoi Yuen Road southbound, Kei Yip Lane westbound and Kei Yip Street southbound before resuming the original routeing.

    Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operator will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangement.
