In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.45 am to 5.30 am on 16 and 17 May 2026, Kwai Chung Road northbound from a point about 30 metres west of lamp post number AA9917 to a point about 1007 metres west of the same lamp post will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
