Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Kam Tin Road, Yuen Long


        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road maintenance works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Kam Tin Road from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day daily on 14, 18 and 26 May 2026:

(I)    Lane Conversion

        The section of Kam Tin Road from a point about 925 metres east of its junction with Fan Kam Road to a point about 1100 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic to one-lane two-way traffic.

(II)   Temporary Relocation of Bus Stops

(i)     The bus stop of KMB Route No. 54, 251B and 251M on Kam Tin Road westbound near lamp post number U8871 will be temporarily relocated to about 80 metres westward; and
(ii)    The bus stop of KMB Route No. 54 and 251B on Kam Tin Road eastbound near lamp post number U8872 will be temporarily relocated to about 80 metres westward.


        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. The bus company will put up notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
