TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Kwun Tong Road, Kwun Tong


       Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Kwun Tong Road from 10.00 pm on 29 May 2026 to 6.00 am of the following day:-

  1. Road Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:-

    1. The slip road leading from Ngau Tau Kok Road northbound to Kwun Tong Road southbound;

    2. The slow lane of about 210 metres on Kwun Tong Road southbound near Yan Wing Mansion; and

    3. The fast lane of about 30 metres on Ngau Tau Kok Road southbound near Yan Wing Mansion.
  1. Banning of Turning Movement

    1. All motorists will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn movement from Ngau Tau Kok Road northbound onto Kwun Tong Road southbound; and

    2. All motorists will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn movement from Ngau Tau Kok Road southbound onto Kwun Tong Road southbound.

  1. Traffic Diversion

    1. Affected motorists on Ngau Tau Kok Road northbound heading for Kwun Tong Road southbound will be diverted via Ngau Tau Kok Road northbound, Fuk To Street westbound and Kwun Tong Road southbound; and

    2. Affected motorists on Ngau Tau Kok Road southbound heading for Kwun Tong Road eastbound will be diverted via Ngau Tau Kok Road southbound, Ting On Street eastbound and Kwun Tong Road eastbound.

  1. Public Transport Arrangements
    1. The bus stops for KMB Route Nos. 62X, 88X, 89D, 258D, 259D, 277E, 277X and 296C on Kwun Tong Road southbound near Kwun Tong Road Sitting-out Area will be temporarily relocated about 20 metres southwards; and

    2. The GMB stops for New Territories GMB Route Nos. 102, 102B and 102S on Kwun Tong Road southbound near Wing Ying Building will be temporarily relocated about 30 metres southwards.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
