TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangement on Yau Ma Tei Interchange and Hoi Po Road, Yau Ma Tei

        Motorists are advised that to facilitate the Central Kowloon Route construction works, the following temporary traffic arrangement will be implemented in Yau Ma Tei from 12.00 midnight to 6.00 am daily on 26 to 27 May and 12 to 13 June 2026:

  1. Road Closure

The following road section of will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

    1. The slip road of Yau Ma Tei Interchange leading to Lai Cheung Road eastbound near Hoi Po Road; and

    2. The slip road of Hoi Po Road northbound leading to Yau Ma Tei Interchange.
    2. Traffic Diversion

    1. Affected vehicles on Yau Ma Tei Interchange slip road heading for Mong Kok will be temporarily diverted via Lin Cheung Road northbound, Cherry Street westbound and Cherry Street eastbound;

    2. Affected vehicles on Yau Ma Tei Interchange slip road heading for Lai Chi Kok will be temporarily diverted via Lin Cheung Road northbound, Cherry Street westbound, Cherry Street eastbound and West Kowloon Corridor northbound;

    3. Affected vehicles on Yau Ma Tei Interchange slip road heading for Tsim Sha Tsui will be temporarily diverted via Lin Cheung Road northbound, Cherry Street westbound, Cherry Street eastbound, Cherry Street westbound and Lin Cheung Road southbound;

    4. Affected vehicles on Yau Ma Tei Interchange slip road heading for Kowloon Bay will be temporarily diverted via Lin Cheung Road northbound, Cherry Street westbound, Cherry Street eastbound, Cherry Street westbound and Lin Cheung Road southbound;

    5. Affected vehicles on Hoi Po Road slip road northbound heading for Mong Kok will be temporarily diverted via Lin Cheung Road northbound, Cherry Street westbound and Cherry Street eastbound;

    6. Affected vehicles on Hoi Po Road slip road northbound heading for Kowloon Bay will be temporarily diverted via Lin Cheung Road northbound, Cherry Street westbound, Cherry Street eastbound, Cherry Street westbound and Lin Cheung Road southbound; and

    7. Affected vehicles on Hoi Po Road slip road northbound heading for Kwai Chung and Lantau will be temporarily diverted via Hoi Po Road northbound and Lin Cheung Road northbound.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
