ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)
TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT ON TOLO HIGHWAY AND TAI PO ROAD-SHA TIN
In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 11.00pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily on 5, 8, 15 and 22 June 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

the section of Tolo Highway (southbound) from a point about 920 meters north of its junction with Tai Po Road - Sha Tin (southbound) to the same junction;

the section of Tai Po Road – Sha Tin (southbound) from its junction with Tolo Highway (southbound) to a point about 830 meters south of the same junction; and,
-
the section of Sui Cheung Street (southbound) from a point about 30 meters north of its junction with Tolo Highway (southbound) to the same junction.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
At the same time, the existing speed limits on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
