Members of the public are advised that, with effect from 11 June 2026 (Thursday), 21 new parking meters managing 35 new parking spaces for private cars will be commissioned at Lung Shing Street.

            The details of these metered parking spaces for private cars are as follows:

           Operating period: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily

           Longest parking period for each transaction: 2 hours

           Parking fee: $4.00 for every 15 minutes

          The Transport Department has set up a dedicated webpage for new parking meters (https://www.td.gov.hk/en/transport_in_hong_kong/parking/parking_meters/npm/index.html) and uploaded videos to introduce how to use the new parking meters, settle parking fees through various payment means and make remote payment through mobile application "HKeMeter". For enquiries on the operation of the new parking meters, motorists may call the service hotline (2332 3700) of the Transport Department's management contractor.
