In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 pm to 5.30 am of the following day daily on 25, 26, 27 and 30 June 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

1. the section of Fanling Bypass southbound from a point about 20 metres east of its junction with Fung Ling Road to its junction with the slip road connecting Fanling Bypass southbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound;
2. the slip road connecting Fanling Bypass southbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound from its junction with Fanling Bypass southbound to a point about 180 metres south of the same junction;
3. the slip road connecting Fanling Bypass southbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound from its junction with Fanling Bypass southbound to a point about 100 metres north of the same junction; and
4. the section of Fanling Bypass southbound from its junction with the slip road connecting Fanling Bypass southbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limits on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
