In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 pm to 5.30 am of the following day daily on 22, 23, 24 and 29 June 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

1. the section of Fanling Bypass northbound from a point about 270 metres south of its junction with the slip road connecting Fanling Bypass northbound and On Kui Street northbound to the same junction;
2. the slip road connecting Fanling Bypass northbound and On Kui Street northbound from its junction with Fanling Bypass northbound to a point about 60 metres north of the same junction;
3. the slip road connecting Fanling Bypass northbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound from its junction with Fanling Bypass northbound to a point about 270 metres south of the same junction; and
4. the section of Fanling Bypass northbound from its junction with the slip road connecting Fanling Bypass northbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limits on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
