Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations

Restricted Zone on Shek Wai Kok Road, Tsuen Wan

 

          In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 22 May 2009, the western kerbside lane of Shek Wai Kok Road from a point about 130 metres north of its junction with Shek On Street to a point about 137 metres north of the same junction will be designated a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily except general holidays. 

 

          Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except public light buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a)	picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b)	loading or unloading goods.

 

 

 

          At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
