Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Aberdeen Main Road Flyover
Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road works on Aberdeen Main Road Flyover, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented during the following period:
From 10.00 pm to 5.00 am of the following days daily on 17 December 2011, 7 January 2012, 14 January 2012, 4 February 2012 and 11 February 2012
I. Traffic Arrangement
The slip road of Aberdeen Praya Road westbound leading to Aberdeen Main Road flyover northbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
Vehicles on Aberdeen Praya Road westbound heading for Aberdeen will be diverted via Aberdeen Praya Road westbound, roundabout, Tin Wan Hill Road flyover, Tin Wan Hill Road, Shek Pai Wan Road, Aberdeen Praya Road eastbound and Aberdeen Main Road eastbound.
II. Public Transport Arrangement
A. Bus and GMB diversion
(i) Citybus Route no. 70; NWFB Routes no. 95 and 595; GMB routes no. 4A, 4B, 4C, 5, 27, 38, 39C, 52 and 59A on Aberdeen Praya Road westbound heading for Aberdeen will be diverted via Aberdeen Praya Road westbound, roundabout, Tin Wan Hill Road flyover, Tin Wan Hill Road, Shek Pai Wan Road, Aberdeen Praya Road eastbound and Aberdeen Main Road eastbound before resuming their original routeing;
(ii) Citybus Routes no. 95C and N72 and NWFB Route no. 94A on Aberdeen Praya Road westbound heading for Wah Fu/Wah Kwai will omit Aberdeen and will be diverted via Aberdeen Praya Road.
B. Bus Stop Arrangements
(i) The bus stop for NWFB route no. 94A on its journey to Wah Fu outside Lok Yeung Street will be suspended.
(ii) The bus stop for Citybus route no. 70 on its journey to Aberdeen outside Aberdeen Municipal Services Building will be suspended.
(iii) The following bus stops for Citybus Route 95C (Chi Fu Bound) will be temporarily suspended:
(a) Aberdeen Main Road outside Aberdeen Municipal Services Building;
(b) Tung Shing Road opposite Kam Fung Building;
(c) Aberdeen Main Road outside Harrow Mansion.
(iv) The following bus stops for Citybus Route N72 (Wah Kwai Bound) will be temporarily suspended:
(a) Lok Yeung Street outside petrol station;
(b) Aberdeen Main Road outside Harrow Mansion.
(v) Temporary bus stop for NWFB route no. 94A on its journey to Wah Fu will be provided on Aberdeen Praya Road outside Aberdeen Promenade.
Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices at the stops and inside vehicle compartments to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
