Restricted Zone in Fui Yiu Kok Street, Tsuen Wan

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 15 June 2012, the northern kerbside lane of Fui Yiu Kok Street from its eastern junction with Wang Lung Street to a point about 50 metres west of the same junction will be designated a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 9.00 am and from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily except general holidays.

Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
