TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Yau Ma Tei
Notice is hereby given that in connection with the construction of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Yau Ma Tei during the following periods:
From 0.01 a.m. to 6.00 a.m. on 16 September 2012
A.Traffic Arrangements
I.Road Closures
The following road sections will be closed to all vehicular traffic:
1. Road D1A(N).
2.The section of Jordan Road eastbound between Road D1A(N) and Ferry Street.
II.Traffic Diversions
1. Vehicles from Jordan Road westbound will be banned from making right turn onto Road D3E westbound.
2.Vehicles from Road D3E eastbound will be banned from making left turn on to Jordan Road eastbound.
3.Vehicles on West Kowloon Highway or Lin Cheung Road southbound heading for Jordan Road eastbound or Canton Road southbound will be diverted to travel via Lai Cheung Road eastbound, Ferry Street southbound and Jordan Road eastbound or Canton Road southbound.
4.Vehicles on West Kowloon Highway or Lin Cheung Road southbound heading for Jordan Road westbound will be diverted to travel via Lai Cheung Road eastbound, Ferry Street southbound, Canton Road southbound, Wui Cheung Road westbound, Road D1A (S) northbound, Road D3E westbound and Jordan Road westbound.
5.Vehicles from Jordan Road westbound heading for Road D3E westbound will be diverted to travel via Canton Road southbound, Wui Cheung Road westbound, Road D1A (S) northbound and Road D3E westbound.
6.Vehicles from Road D3E eastbound heading for Jordan Road eastbound or Ferry Street northbound will be diverted to travel via Road D1A (S) southbound, Wui Cheung Road eastbound, Canton Road northbound and Jordan Road eastbound or Ferry Street northbound.
B.Public Transport Arrangements
I.Bus and GMB Route Diversions
1. KMB Routes 36B, 42A, 46, 60X, 63X, 68X, 69X, 81, 95, 260X, 268B, 269B, 296D, Citybus Route A22 and GMB Routes 26, 74 from Jordan Road westbound heading for To Wah Road, Nga Cheung Road and West Kowloon Highway will be diverted to travel via Canton Road southbound, Wui Cheung Road westbound and Road D1A (S) northbound before resuming its normal routeing on Road D3E westbound.
2.Cross Harbour Routes 970, 970X, 971 and Citybus Routes E23, N11 from Jordan Road westbound heading for West Kowloon Highway will be diverted to travel via Canton Road southbound, Wui Cheung Road westbound, Road D1A (S) northbound, Road D3E westbound, Jordan Road westbound, roundabout, Jordan Road eastbound and Lin Cheung Road northbound before resuming their normal routeings on West Kowloon Highway.
3.KMB Routes 260X, 268B, 269B, and Citybus Routes A22, E23, N11, N23 on West Kowloon Highway southbound heading for Jordan Road or Canton Road will be diverted to travel via Lai Cheung Road eastbound and Ferry Street southbound before resuming their normal routeings on Jordan Road eastbound or Canton Road southbound.
4.KMB Routes 36B, 42A, 46, 60X, 63X, 68X, 69X, 81, 95, Cross Harbour Routes 914, 970, 970X, 971 and GMB Routes 26, 74 from Road D3E eastbound heading for Nathan Road or Ferry Street will be diverted to travel via Road D1A (S) southbound, Wui Cheung Road eastbound and Canton Road northbound before resuming its normal routeing on Jordan Road eastbound or Ferry Street northbound.
II.Bus and GMB Stops Arrangements
1. The bus stop for KMB Routes 36B, 42A, 46, 60X, 63X, 68X, 69X, 81, 95, and Cross Harbour Routes 914, 970, 970X, 971 on Jordan Road opposite MTR Austin Station will be suspended.
2.The bus stop of CTB Routes N11 and N23 on Jordan Road opposite to MTR Austin Station will be relocated to Ferry Street opposite to Man Wah Building.
3.The bus stop for KMB Routes 36B, 42A, 46, 60X, 63X, 68X, 69X, 81, 95, 296D, and the GMB stop for GMB Routes 26, 74 on Road D3E westbound near Lin Cheung Road will be suspended.
4.The bus stop for Cross Harbour Routes 970, 970X, 971, 973 and Citybus Routes E23 and N11 on Road D3E westbound near Lin Cheung Road will be relocated to Jordan Road westbound outside Sorrento.
From 6.00 a.m. on 16 September 2012 for about 16 months
A.Traffic Arrangements
I.Road ClosuresThe section of Jordan Road between Lin Cheung Road and Road D1A (S) will continue to be closed to all vehicular traffic.
II.Traffic Diversions
1. Road D3E will be temporarily realigned northward.
2.Vehicles from Jordan Road westbound, Road D1A (S) northbound and Road D1A (N) heading for Nga Cheung Road and West Kowloon Highway will be diverted to travel via Road D3E westbound and Jordan Road westbound or Lin Cheung Road northbound.
3.Vehicles from Lin Cheung Road northbound and Jordan Road eastbound heading for Ferry Street and Nathan Road will be diverted to travel via Road D3E eastbound and Jordan Road eastbound.
4.Vehicles from Lin Cheung Road northbound and Jordan Road eastbound heading for Canton Road will be diverted to travel via Road D3E eastbound and Road D1A (S) southbound.
B.Public Transport Arrangements

2.KMB Routes 260X, 268B, 269B and Citybus Routes A22, E23, N11 from Jordan Road westbound heading for West Kowloon Highway will be diverted to travel via Road D3E westbound before resuming its normal routeing on Lin Cheung Road northbound.
3.KMB Routes 36B, 42A, 46, 60X, 63X, 68X, 69X, 81, 95, Cross Harbour Routes 914, 970, 970X, 971 and GMB Routes 26, 26A, 74, 74S from Jordan Road eastbound heading for Ferry Street and Nathan Road will be diverted to travel via Road D3E eastbound before resuming its normal routeing on Jordan Road eastbound.
4.Cross Harbour Route 973 from Jordan Road eastbound heading for Canton Road will be diverted to travel via Road D3E eastbound before resuming its normal routeing on Road D1A (S) southbound.
II.Bus and GMB Stops Arrangements
1. The bus stop for KMB Routes 36B, 42A, 46, 60X, 63X, 68X, 69X, 81, 95 and Cross Harbour Routes 914, 970, 970X, 971 on Jordan Road opposite MTR Austin Station will be relocated to Road D3E eastbound near Lin Cheung Road.
2.The bus stop for KMB Routes 36B, 42A, 46, 60X, 63X, 68X, 69X, 81, 95, 296D, Cross Harbour Routes 970, 970X, 971, 973, Citybus Routes E23 and N11 and the GMB stop for GMB Routes 26, 26A, 74, 74S on Jordan Road westbound near Lin Cheung Road will be relocated to Road D3E westbound near Lin Cheung Road.
Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices at the stops and inside vehicle compartments of the affected routes to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
