Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements for Blasting Works in Ho Man Tin

Members of the public are advised that to facilitate the blasting works for the construction of Kwun Tong Line Extension, the section of Chung Hau Street from a point about 140 metres south of its southern junction with Fat Kwong Street to a point about 360 metres south of the same junction may be temporarily closed for about 3 minutes between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. or between 2.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. from 2 to 31 May 2013 (except Sundays and public holidays), depending on the progress of works.

Public transport services travelling via the above road section, including bus routes 7B, 8, 17, 18, 41, 45, 109 and green minibus route 8 may be interrupted during the temporary closure of Chung Hau Street.

Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Traffic delay is expected during the implementation of the above temporary traffic and transport arrangements. Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements. Members of the public are advised to plan their journey early and allow more travelling time.
