Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374)
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 6 September 2013, the following road sections in Tsuen Wan will be designated restricted zones from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm daily:
(a) the western kerbside lane of Hoi Tak Street from its junction with Chai Wan Kok Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction; and
(b) the southern kerbside lane of Chai Wan Kok Street from its junction with Hoi Tak Street to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
