Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374)
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that the section of Chai Wan Kok Street from its junction with Tai Chung Road to a point about 65 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily during the periods as specified below:
(i) from 12.00 noon on 12 April 2014 to 7.00 am on 14 April 2014;
(ii) from 9.00 am on 18 April 2014 to 7.00 am on 22 April 2014;
(iii) from 12.00 noon on 26 April 2014 to 7.00 am on 28 April 2014;
(iv) from 9.00 am on 1 May 2014 to 7.00 am on 2 May 2014;
(v) from 12.00 noon on 3 May 2014 to 7.00 am on 5 May 2014;
(vi) from 9.00 am on 6 May 2014 to 7.00 am on 7 May 2014; and
(vii) from 12.00 noon on 10 May 2014 to 7.00 am on 12 May 2014.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
