Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374)
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 25 April 2014, the following road sections in Tsuen Wing Street will be designated restricted zones:
(a) the western kerbside lane of Tsuen Wing Street from a point about 50 metres north of its junction with Sha Tsui Road to a point about 75 metres north of the same junction will be designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily; and
(b) the eastern kerbside lane of Tsuen Wing Street from a point about 65 metres north of its junction with Sha Tsui Road to a point about 75 metres north of the same junction (excluding the lay-by) will be designated a restricted zone from 8.00 am to 10.00 am and 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
