Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374) 

Restricted Zones in Sham Tsz Street, Tsuen Wan

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 27 June 2014, the following road sections in Tsuen Wan will be designated restricted zone 24 hours daily:

(a) the western kerbside lane of Sham Tsz Street from a point about 50 metres southwest of its junction with Castle Peak Road - Sham Tseng to a point about 95 metres southwest of the same junction; and
(b) the eastern kerbside lane of Sham Tsz Street from a point about 65 metres southwest of its junction with Castle Peak Road - Sham Tseng to a point about 90 metres southwest of the same junction.

Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zone for goods vehicle from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily on the above road sections will be rescinded.
