Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374)
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 19 August 2014 to 6.00 pm on 30 August 2014, the lay-by in the southern kerbside lane of Castle Peak Road - Tsuen Wan from a point about 160 metres east of its junction with Lai Chi Road to a point about 200 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
