Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374)
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 30 August 2014 to 6.00 pm on 30 September 2014, the northern kerbside lane of Tsuen Wan Market Street from a point about 15 metres east of its junction with Yan Chai Street to a point about 60 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zone from 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight daily on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
