Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374)
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 24 October 2014, the following road sections will be designated restricted zones.
(a) the southern kerbside lane of Tai Ho Road westbound from a point about 55 metres east of its junction with Tsuen Wan Market Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction will be designated restricted zones from 8.00 am to 10.00 am and from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily; and
(b) the eastern kerbside lane of Tsuen Wan Market Street from a point about 20 metres south of its junction with Tai Ho Road westbound to a point about 60 metres south of the same junction will be designated restricted zones from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
