Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Kwun Tong
Members of the public are advised that in order to facilitate road maintenance works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Kwun Tong between 29 October 2014 and 2 November 2014 (inclusive) : -
I. Traffic Arrangement
a. Road Closure
The slip road leading from Tsueng Kwan O Road (Tseung Kwan O bound) to Sau Mau Ping Road (Sau Mau Ping bound) will be closed with effect from 1.30 am to 5.00 am daily.
b. Traffic Diversion
During the above mentioned road closure period:
(i) Vehicles of length exceeding 12 metres will be diverted via Tseung Kwan O Road (Tseung Kwan O bound), slip road, Sau Mau Ping Road (Lam Tin bound), Lin Tak Road, Tak Tin Street (westbound), Kai Tin Road roundabout, Tak Tin Street (eastbound), Lin Tak Road and Sau Mau Ping Road (Sau Mau Ping bound).
(ii) Other vehicles will be diverted via Tseung Kwan O Road (Tseung Kwan O bound), slip road, Sau Mau Ping Road (Lam Tin bound), Lin Tak Road (Pik Wan Road bound), Pik Wan Road roundabout, Lin Tak Road (Sau Mau Ping bound) and Sau Mau Ping Road (Sau Mau Ping bound).
Appropriate temporary traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
II. Transport Arrangement
a. Bus Diversion
All Tiu Keng Leng bound departures of Cross Harbour Route No. N691 will be diverted (after Eastern Harbour Crossing toll plaza) via Lei Yue Mun Road roundabout, Kai Tin Road, roundabout, Tak Tin Street, Lin Tak Road, Sau Mau Ping Road and then follow normal routeing.
b. Bus Stop Arrangement
(i) The 2 bus stops for Route No. N691 (Tiu Keng Leng bound) at Lei Yue Mun Road near Lam Tin Station, Tseung Kwan O Road opposite Kwun Tong Police Station will be suspended.
(ii) A temporary bus stop for Route No. N691 (Tiu Keng Leng bound) will be provided at Kai Tin Road near S.K.H. Kei Hau Secondary School.
The bus company will display notices to advise passengers about the above temporary bus service alterations.
