Extension of Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tsim Sha Tsui

     Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate modification of Tsim Sha Tsui Station Carnarvon Road Subway Entrance, the following traffic and transport arrangements will continue to be temporarily implemented in Tsim Sha Tsui with effect from 10 December 2014 to 9 December 2015 : -

I.  Temporary Traffic Arrangement

A. Road Closure
  The section of Carnarvon Road between Bristol Avenue and Nathan Road will continue to be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
   
B. Traffic Diversion
(a) Vehicles on Carnarvon Road southbound heading for Nathan Road will be diverted via Bristol Avenue southbound, Mody Road eastbound, Chatham Road South northbound, Cameron Road westbound, Carnarvon Road northbound, Granville Road westbound and Nathan Road southbound; and
(b) Vehicles on Humphreys Avenue eastbound heading for Nathan Road will be diverted via Carnarvon Road northbound, Granville Road westbound and Nathan Road southbound.
 

II.  Temporary transport arrangements

A. GMB Diversion
  GMB Route No. 7 heading for To Kwa Wan and no. 62S heading for Tsim Sha Tsui direction will be diverted via Carnarvon Road northbound, Granville Road westbound and Nathan Road southbound before resuming to original routing.
   
B. GMB Stop Arrangements
(a) The existing en-route stops of GMB Route Nos. 7 and 62S on Carnarvon Road outside Tsim Sha Tsui Station will be temporarily relocated to Nathan Road outside House No. 66-70; and
(b) The en-route stop of the short-working of GMB Route No. 7 on Carnarvon Road outside Tsim Sha Tsui Station will be temporarily relocated to Carnarvon Road outside K11 (near Bristol Avenue).
 

     Appropriate traffic signs have been erected on site to guide motorists. Notices will also be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
