Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374)

 Restricted Zones on Tsuen King Circuit, Tsuen Wan

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 24 December 2014, the following road sections will be designated restricted zones.

(a) the southern kerbside lane of Tsuen King Circuit from a point about 220 metres south of its junction with On Yat Street to a point about 255 metres south of the same junction will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily; and

(b) the southern kerbside lane of Tsuen King Circuit from a point about 265 metres south of its junction with On Yat Street to a point about 285 metres south of the same junction will be designated restricted zones for goods vehicles from 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight daily.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

        (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

        (b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing goods vehicle restricted zones on the above road section will be rescinded.
