Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374)

 Temporary Restricted Zone in Hoi Pa Street, Tsuen Wan

             In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 6 July 2015 to 6.00pm on 31 July 2015, the following road section in Hoi Pa Street will be temporarily designated restricted zone:

(a) the northern kerbside lane of Hoi Pa Street from a point about 90 metres southeast of its junction with Heung Che Street to a point about 155 metres southeast of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

             Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

              The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
